[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In March 28th and 29th, the Alliance’s member law firms had their first 2014 meeting at the Hotel Il Campanario in Florianópolis, State of Santa Catarina in Brazil.
At the meeting, the Alliance’s new Executive Committee was elected for a one year term.
President: Luís Hasegawa, from the Ally Hasegawa e Neto Advogados Associados, of Londrina, State of Paraná, Brazil;
Vice-President: Fernanda Dixo, from the Ally Lacaz Martins, Pereira Neto, Gurevich & Schoueri Advogados, of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, Brazil
Financial Director: Rycharde Farah, from the Ally Farah, Gomes e Advogados S/S, of Florianópolis, State of Santa Catarina, Brazil;
Director: Ubirajara Costódio Filho, from the Ally Hilú, Costódio Filho & Caron Baptista Sociedade de Advogados, of Curitiba, State of Paraná, Brazil; and
Director: Luiz Guilherme de Melo Lopes, from the Ally Brabo Magalhães Advogados, of Maceió, State of Alagoas, Brazil.
On the same meeting association of two new Aliies was approved.
New Allies are MUGGENBURG, GORCHES, PEÑALOSA Y SEPÚLVEDA, S.C., www.mgps.com.mx, which becomes ALAE’s member firm in Mexico, and MOREIRA & CURY ADVOGADOS ASSOCIADOS, www.moreiraecury.com, which will represent ALAE in the Brazilian State of Tocantins.
With the association of MOREIRA & CURY, ALAE now has associated firms on all Brazilian States, besides its Allies in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay, and now also in Mexico. In the total, ALAE now has 31 member law firms.
ALAE’s new president Luís Hasegawa said: “At the moment when ALAE reaches its 10th anniversary it’s a pleasure to register that we have reached our goal of having Allies on all Brazilian States. At the same time, with the association of our new Mexican Ally, we see our goal of being on all Latin American countries advancing a little bit more. On our next meeting on August 2014 we hope being able to announce new Allies in Peru and Ecuador, which we will start searching for in April. On the other hand, during my tenure I will also be focused on increasing businesses amongst the Allies, pursuing to overcome the R$4,2 million obtained in 2013”.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
