Tax Controversies on Compensation Programs | Tax reform

The event “Tax Controversies on Remuneration Programs | Tax Reform” was held on August 30, 2019 at the Hotel Meliá Jardim Europa in São Paulo, with two panels:

The first panel addressed the topic “Controversies over Remuneration Programs: Awards, Bonuses, Stock Options and PLR”, with the participation of José Levi Mello do Amaral Júnior, Attorney General of the National Treasury and Professor at USP and UniCEUB, Luís Fabiano Penteado , Counselor of CARF, Caio Taniguchi, specialist in Tax Law and Social Security Law of Ally Bichara Advogados, and Alice de Abreu Lima Jorge, Former Lawyer of the National Treasury, specialist in taxation in compensation programs for large companies of Ally Coimbra & Chaves Advogados.

The second panel, in the form of a talk show, had as its theme “Tax Reform: In search of a new path” and was moderated by Paulo Roberto Coimbra Silva, Professor at UFMG, from Aliado Coimbra & Chaves Advogados. The Federal Deputy João Roma, Rapporteur for the Tax Reform of the Chamber of Deputies, Samuel Pessôa, Assistant Professor of the Graduate School of Economics of the FGV-RJ (EPGE/FGV) and Head of the Center for Economic Growth of the Brazilian Institute of Economics (IBRE/FGV), and Luis Eduardo Schoueri, Professor at USP, from Ally Lacaz Martins, Pereira Neto, Gurevich & Schoueri Advogados, participated.
