VI Symposium of Corporate Law

The VI Corporate Law Symposium of ALAE was held on 08/03/2017 at the WTC Theater in São Paulo, with more than 400 participants, and the following schedule:

Lecture by STF Minister Luís Roberto Barroso on “The Judicialization of Life: The Brazilian Institutional Moment”.

Talk Show “Reforms: Preparing Brazil for the Future”, conducted by journalist William Waack and with the presence of Senator Antonio Anastasia and José Márcio Camargo, Professor of the PUC-RJ Department of Economics.

Panel “Combat to Corruption and Individual Guarantees” with the Public Attorney and Coordinator of the Nucleus for Combating Corruption of the Public Attorney of São Paulo Thaméa Danelon, and criminal lawyer Antonio Carlos de Almeida Castro (Kakay).

“Compliance and Anticorruption” panel, with the retired STF Justice and Director of Institutional Relations and Compliance Policies of BTG Pactual Nelson Jobim, the Legal Director of Camargo Corrêa Arthur Sanchez Badin, and the Legal Superintendent of Andrade Gutierrez Gustavo Benchimol.

Panel “Process, Predictability and Legal Security”, with the conferences “Provisions: A New Vision”, given by the Doctor of Law and Professor Marco Aurélio Greco, and “Binding Effectiveness of Precedents in the New CPC”, given by the Minister of STJ Ricardo Villas Bôas Cueva.

Final Lecture “Political, Economic and Ethical Crisis in Brazil and in the World”, given by the historian Leandro Karnal.
